Cocoa & Maca Energy Balls

These are super quick and easy to make and great for energy and endurance


Ingredients:


•⁠ ⁠1 cup almonds (or a mix of almonds and sunflower seeds)

•⁠ ⁠½ cup pumpkin seeds

•⁠ ⁠10 medjool dates, pitted

•⁠ ⁠2 tbsp chia seeds

•⁠ ⁠2 tbsp flaxseeds

•⁠ ⁠2 tbsp cacao powder

•⁠ ⁠1 tbsp maca powder (optional)

•⁠ ⁠1 tsp cinnamon

•⁠ ⁠½ tsp sea salt

•⁠ ⁠1 tbsp coconut oil

•⁠ ⁠1-2 tbsp water (if needed for consistency)





Method:


  1. Blend chia and flax seeds in a food processor

  2. Combine the rest of the ingredients and blend till desired consistency

  3. ⁠Adjust consistency – Add water a little at a time if needed to achieve a sticky consistency.

  4. Roll into bite-sized balls.

  5. Makes: ~20 small balls

  6. Chill & store – Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container:

  7. Fridge: Up to 7 days or Freezer: Up to 3 months
